Viewing and Changing Instrument Information
1. Open the menu bar for the instrument by taping on the instrument on the main page.

2. Tap info in the menu bar, this will take you to the instrument information page.

Here you can view the instrument information such as:

Manufacturers Name
​Battery Level
RSSI

Serial Number
Model Number
Firmware Revision
Hardware revision

 
3. To change the name; tap the name and type a new name, then tap done. This will save a new name and will be remembered by DataWorks if the instrument is disconnected and reconnected.
 

Setting an Alarm

DataWorks allows you to set alarms for both high and low levels. The alarms provide both visual and audible indication that they have been triggered and are easily reset.

1. Open the menu bar for the instrument by taping on the instrument on the main page.

2. Tap alarm on the menu bar.


3. A pop-up will appear presenting you with the option of setting a high and low alarm.

4. Tap the high and/or low button on to switch an alarm on and enter the value desired.

5. Tap done to save your alarm, if these values are met the alarm will sound and the clock will turn red. To stop the alert just tap the red clock icon on your main page.
 

6. To switch off the alarm, just return to the setting alarm pop-up and tap the button o
ff.

 
 Calibration

For instruments that require it, such as pH, a simple one-touch calibration procedure has been developed to allow you to quickly calibrate your instrument. If you forget to calibrate an instrument DataWorks will also let you know the calibration is out-of-date ensuring your data is always accurate.
 
1. Open the menu bar for the instrument by taping on the instrument on the main page.

2. Tap calibrate in the menu bar.

​3. You are taken to the calibration page, to start calibration tap Start and follow the instructions on the page.
